Learning to drive for the first time with John was a very enjoyable experience. I found his teaching style to be very methodical, which helped me to better understand the correct way to go about certain manoeuvres and driving in general. John was also very encouraging throughout and patient when I made mistakes. This really allowed me to relax and take the time I needed to properly learn the controls of the car and also develop my awareness on the roads. I have no hesitation in recommending John to anyone!

How many hours will it take?
A Government survey of people learning to drive, showed on average learners take 52 hours of professional driving lessons. It would therefore cost £1,976 to learn. With my Taylor’d approach, I aim for 30 hours costing £1,140 – a potential saving of £836.
Some of my learners have needed less than 30 hours, some more, depending on their level of experience and speed of learning and a retry at the driving test may have been necessary. Lessons were planned and Taylor’d to meet their unique needs and to therefore keep costs to a minimum.
2 Hour Lessons
£76 per two hour lesson. Paid in advance of the lesson.
A 2 hour lesson will save you money and speed up your progress. Two hour lessons cost less and are more productive because of the continuous unbroken time behind the wheel. We are also able to drive and practise some of the more distant difficult parts of test routes. It is too restrictive in one hour to do this. 2 hour lessons can be taken every two weeks if necessary to spread the cost.
Taking one driving lesson per week will spread the cost. I will carefully structured and expertly delivered your training so that no time in the car is wasted. I will assess your driving during your first lesson and design a learning course to meet your needs. All learning materials are provided.
Whats included in the price
Included in the price of your lessons is the time I spend planning your lessons, your free Taylor’d learning booklet, help and advice for the theory and administration. I am always available by text to answer any questions you may have.
How do you pay
In cash, or bank transfer. Payment should be made in full prior to lessons commencing.
Cancellations
Cancellations should be made at least 48 hours prior to a lessons taking place, or a charge may be made depending on the circumstances of the cancellation. Please see my terms and conditions for full details of cancellations and lesson payments. I am understanding if cancellations are made due to ill health.
